SUMMER

Sun-soaked days, star-filled nights. Pure Canadian cottage country.

Dates:

June 23rd to September 1st

< Back

Summer at Bonnie View Inn is where long lake days, waterfront dining, and classic cottage-country experiences come together in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands. Set along the shores of Kashagawigamog Lake, summer at the resort brings a lively yet relaxed atmosphere where guests can spend their days on the beach, out on the water, or enjoying the simple rhythm of lakeside living.

Mornings often begin with breakfast at The Lodge overlooking the lake before guests head out to enjoy everything the property has to offer. With over 300 feet of sandy beachfront, complimentary water activities including kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, water bikes, and the floating water trampoline, there’s always something happening by the shore. Some guests spend the afternoon exploring nearby towns and trails, while others settle into a chair by the water and never feel the need to leave the property.

Throughout the summer, The Dockside Patio becomes the social hub of the resort. Open daily for lunch and dinner, it offers casual waterfront dining, cold drinks, live music nights, and a laid-back atmosphere that naturally draws people together. Whether stopping in for fish and chips after a swim, grabbing ice cream from Scoop Life, or spending an evening listening to live music by the lake, The Dockside becomes part of the summer routine for many guests.

As the sun sets over Kashagawigamog Lake, the pace slows. Families gather around the waterfront, couples relax on private decks, and groups reconnect after full days outdoors. Summer at Bonnie View Inn blends activity, relaxation, and lakeside tradition into the kind of getaway guests return to year after year.
