OUR HISTORY
Bonnie View Inn has been a part of the lakefront landscape since the early 1920s, beginning as a small cottage retreat rooted in the shoreline. Over time, it has grown and evolved into the welcoming lakeside inn you see today, while still carrying the charm and character of its original beginnings.
Throughout the years, the property has been shaped by the people and moments it has hosted—from lively gatherings in the lower level spaces to quiet evenings shared by the water. Elements of its past can still be felt today, from original architectural details to the stories that live within its walls.
As the Inn evolved, cabins and chalets gave way to thoughtfully designed suites, and the waterfront spaces transformed into the gathering areas guests enjoy today. The dockside deck, once home to a unique floating-style boathouse, continues to be one of the most beloved spots on the property.
While Bonnie View has changed over the decades, its spirit has remained the same—a relaxed, welcoming lakeside retreat where people come together, unwind, and enjoy life by the water.
