SPRING
Where the Highlands wake up and the lake comes Alive
Dates:
April to June 23rd
Spring at Bonnie View Inn begins in April as the property transitions from winter into budding trees, fresh greenery, and the early signs of the season in the Haliburton Highlands. As the ice melts from Kashagawigamog Lake, the resort becomes a quiet, peaceful escape surrounded by nature and waterfront views.
From April through Victoria Day weekend, the inn operates as accommodations only, with no scheduled resort activities or on-site dining. Guests can enjoy a simple, quiet stay focused on rest and nature, with nearby dining available in Minden and Haliburton just a short drive away. Midweek, we also welcome local workers and professionals needing a comfortable stay, with extended and multi-room bookings available at preferred rates.
After Victoria Day weekend, the resort transitions into summer as waterfront activities such as canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats are placed in the water and the property becomes more active. Weekends shift toward weddings and group events, while midweek stays remain quieter and more relaxed. This shoulder season is ideal for getaways, retreats, and peaceful time by the lake.
