With years filled with traditions of fun and families, the Bonnie View Inn has been a vacation destination for over a century. Now equipped with the modern amenities to make your stay exceedingly comfortable, The Bonnie View Inn Resort has still managed to hold on to the earliest concepts in dining and accommodation that has made it as famous in the Haliburton Highlands as it is today.

The Bonnie View Inn, originally opened in 1901, began with the main lodge and just one cabin. Built on one of the most beautiful and sought after properties in the area it quickly became a popular vacation destination for those near and far. Getting to the Bonnie View Inn had its limitations back then with travelers arriving by C.N.R. train into the village of Haliburton and then making the rest of journey in horse and buggy.

Over the years the accommodations have expanded to keep up with the demand adding more cabins along the waters edge of the beautiful Lake Kashagawigamog. In 1987(?) the coach house was built that now houses The Bonnie View Inn’s most luxurious suites that overlook the lake.

The Bonnie View Inn continues to attract travelers from all over the world with its idyllic setting, fresh air, outdoor pursuits, gracious hospitality and fine dining that will continue for years to come.
